Today, Thursday, September 24th, Santander welcomed the return of Balmoral, operated by Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, for another call at the Port of Santander.
The ship berthed at the Maritime Station (Almirante) from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, arriving from Lisbon and continuing its itinerary towards Saint-Malo.
Balmoral brought up to 1,420 passengers, the majority of them British, who had the opportunity to spend the day discovering Santander and the many cultural, gastronomic and tourism experiences available across Cantabria.
Located right in the heart of the city, the Maritime Station allows cruise guests to start exploring Santander as soon as they disembark. The Tourist Information Office located within the terminal also provides passengers with maps, recommendations and information to help them make the most of their visit.
This was not Balmoral’s first visit to Santander, as the Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines vessel had previously called at the port in 2017. Its return further strengthens the relationship between the cruise line and the destination.
