Looking ahead to 2026, the port authority anticipates exceeding 30 cruise calls and welcoming more than 50,000 cruise passengers, a figure that would represent a new milestone for cruise tourism in Santander. This projected growth underlines the rising interest shown by international cruise lines and highlights the destination’s capacity to accommodate larger volumes while maintaining a premium visitor experience.
In line with this expansion strategy, cruise vessels will be given priority berthing at the Maritime Terminal, ensuring smooth operations and seamless port logistics.
